DEVELOPING THE FULL PERSON
LAYER BY LAYER

According to the National Alliance for Youth Sports, 70% of kids in the U.S. stop playing organized sport by the age of 13 because “it’s just not fun anymore.”

THE STRATA APPROACH

Backed by professional curriculum and coaching, we have designed a research-based, age-appropriate journey that focuses on long-term athletic and life development by prioritizing enjoyment and growth above “winning at all costs”.

We assess developmental progress over time. A learning-driven approach will not only keep youth involved in sport longer, but lead to high-level athletic performance as a by-product.

OUR PILLARS

FUN. The foundation of our curriculum is play. It’s simple - we want athletes to fall in love with sports.

CULTURE OF ERROR. We remove the pressure many athletes feel to perform because the learning process is nonlinear.

LIFE & LEADERSHIP DEVELOPMENT. The real value of playing sports is the preparation for life.

PRESENCE. We teach athletes how to be in the moment, which helps them reach states of “flow”.

CELEBRATION. We highlight the behavior we want to see and choose to focus on recognizing the progress in others.

RELATIONSHIPS. At the end of your athletic career, this is what you remember.
